2024年1月,Transboundary and Emerging Diseases在线发表了Statens Serum Institut(Denmark)等多个单位题为Inefficient Transmission of African Swine Fever Virus to Sentinel Pigs from an Environment Contaminated by ASFV-Infected Pigs under Experimental Conditions的临床实验性文章,研究结果发现基因I型与II型高致病力ASFV感染猪污染的栏舍中,在剔除当天或剔除1-3天后引入哨兵猪,而哨兵猪全程并未发病,表明ASFV病毒污染的环境再次传播病毒进而致病具有低效性。
